Tithing means giving the ten percent for God’s work.
Some ministers are reluctant to speak about the tithe, because they fear to appear money hungry. (I Thessalonians 5:22). However tithing is a scriptural principle.  A Christian should give one tenth of his earnings.
This is not being legalistic, because tithing was established before the law was given, and besides how else would the work of God be supported? (I Corinthians 9:14)
Jacob offered to give the tithe to God as a covenant between them. (Genesis 28:22). He did this 500 years before the law was given.
The Jews not only gave the tithe, but the law also included many other offerings that they had to give. (Numbers 29:39)
The early Christians not only gave the tithe, but some that had houses and lands gave them as well. (Acts 4:34)
Paul highly commended the generosity of the Galatians. (Galatians 4:15)
The tithe is only the minimum requirement that should be given. We have the privilege of giving more and storing for ourselves treasures in heaven. (Matthew 13:44)
Tithing was before the law
(Genesis 14:20)
Tithing was under the law
(Deuteronomy 26:12)
Tithing was after the law
(I Corinthians 16:2)
Let us tithe
(Luke 6:38)

Prayer Requests

Due to the amount of prayers requested, it is not possible for us to pray individually for every prayer request, and it would be dishonest to imply that we do. So instead we will add your prayer request to our list, which we will take before The Lord God Almighty.

Yes, I wish for you to include me in your prayer list
