READING THE WORD

The Bible is in almost every home in America yet it is seldom read in many of them. This is the cause for the current moral destruction of America. (Hosea 4:6)

The Bible is extremely important, for without it no person can become a Christian. (Romans 10:17)

The primary purpose of the Bible is to bring us to belief in Jesus Christ (John 20:31)

But another benefit of reading the Bible is that it will make a person wise. (Psalm 119:98)

Although God has commanded us to read his word. (Deuteronomy 8:3) It should be read more because it is pleasurable than out of duty. (Psalm 19:10)

The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalm 119; it contains 176 verses wholly dedicated to praising the word of God (Psalm 119:72)

Jesus overcame the devil by quoting from the word (Matthew 4:10). Likewise Christians throughout the centuries have endured great trials, by finding comfort in its reading.

But the best reason for reading it is that it is the word of God Almighty. (II Timothy 3:16)

Christians must not forget the daily reading of the word. Any Christian who neglects his Bible is trying to walk in a world of darkness without a lamp. (Psalm 119:105)

The Bible is pure
(Proverbs 30:5)

The Bible is exciting
(Hebrews 11:32-34)

The Bible is God's word
(II Peter 1:21)

Let us read it
(I Peter 2:2)

Prayer Requests

Due to the amount of prayers requested, it is not possible for us to pray individually for every prayer request, and it would be dishonest to imply that we do. So instead we will add your prayer request to our list, which we will take before The Lord God Almighty.

Yes, I wish for you to include me in your prayer list
