The devil is a very real foe, and he is not playing games, he wants to destroy people. He doesn't care whether they believe in him or not as long as he can drag their souls into a horrid hell. (II Corinthians 4:4)
This ferocious beast is more vicious when attacking God's people. He will cheat, lie or even make war in order to destroy God's people. (Revelation 13:7)
King David was provoked by Satan into numbering Israel. (II Chronicles 1:21). However David realized his folly, and repented from this sin, and was forgiven.
Later on the devil sought to destroy Jesus by tempting him. (Mark 1:13)  And Jesus resisted him.
Then he moved others to kill him, but Jesus was triumphant over him. (Hebrews 2:14)
The devil indeed is an extremely dangerous enemy. It is not possible to defeat him with physical means, intelligence or our human spirit.
However we can be triumphant over this terrible adversary, because God has given his Holy Spirit to us, and also has given us the following instructions on how to overcome him.
Resist the devil
(James 4:17)
Give him no place
(Ephesians 4:27)
Be watchful
(I Peter 5:8)
Put on the armor of God
(Ephesians 6:11)

Prayer Requests

Due to the amount of prayers requested, it is not possible for us to pray individually for every prayer request, and it would be dishonest to imply that we do. So instead we will add your prayer request to our list, which we will take before The Lord God Almighty.

Yes, I wish for you to include me in your prayer list
