DEFEATED CHRISTIANS, HEAR ME

First of all I want to make it clear that I am not trying to be mean or unkind to any brother or sister who is suffering or going thru great trials. I am not trying to belittle their trials and tribulations, but to wake them up.

I know we all have problems, because man is born into trouble. (Job 5:7)  So I understand when a brother has an off day, I myself have plenty of those. However I am not sympathetic at all, when a brother is always with his head down, and has a face that is a mile long.  He goes through life singing the same song "O! Poor me, everything bad happens to me" If it wasn’t for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.

Your constant long face shows your sin of unbelief.  Yes that's right, you doubt that God can work a miracle in your life.  I don't care how big your problems are, God can work them out.  Get out of your rut, you been there long enough.  My brother wake up, Our God is not dead, but liveth.  In his presence there is fullness of joy. (Psalm 16:11)   Be glad, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy. (Psalm 32:11)

Disneyland has the motto "The happiest place on earth", But for a christian the happiest place ought to be the church.  My god is not pale and dull, but he is vibrant and full of sound and color.  Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.  Jesus has given us the victory, let us not live a defeated life anymore.

The devil wants you to focus on your problems, he wants you to take your eyes of Jesus, the only one who can solve all your problems. But Jesus is not a genie, who is at your command and will grant your wishes. Jesus is the Lord of your life and when he feels it is the proper time, then he will take you out of the furnace of your trials and your tribulations.

The Apostle Paul told us to rejoice in our sufferings; come on dear apostle, I am in the fire, it is me who is suffering, not your and you tell me to rejoice? You must be kidding, right? No I am afraid the Apostle Paul was quite serious when he told us to rejoice in our sufferings.

Come on who wants to dance, shout for joy and be happy in the midst of fiery tribulations, certainly not I.  It is easy to tell others it is not so bad when it is not your skin, but Paul knew what he was saying, for when he was beaten and then imprisoned for Jesus in Philippi, he was singing joyful songs unto the Lord and the Lord sent an earthquake that open the doors of the prison.

Hear this defeated Christians, Jesus knows what you are going thru and he cares, but he is trying to work a work in you, he is trying to perfect you, let him do it. Rejoice in the midst of that suffering for at the end of the trial you shall receive a spiritual reward and joy.

I too have problems and trials in my life, but continual crying and worrying won't solve a single one of them.  No, I don't always have a smile in my face, but I am trusting that he will work all things for my good.  There is a time to weep and a time to laugh: a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (Ecclesiastes 3:4) So don't take up all your time with weeping and mourning, but take some time to laugh and dance too.

Prayer Requests

Due to the amount of prayers requested, it is not possible for us to pray individually for every prayer request, and it would be dishonest to imply that we do. So instead we will add your prayer request to our list, which we will take before The Lord God Almighty.

Yes, I wish for you to include me in your prayer list
